Multi-Gigabit Wireless Products Move Ever Closer To Commercialization
Santa Clara, CA. June 27th, 2012. Members of the Wireless Gigabit Alliance (WiGig) are to test multi-gigabit wireless WiGig technology in real world conditions this week in a move taking the technology ever closer to commercialization.
The second WiGig Plugfest will run for four days and establish the basis for future interoperability of different products. It signals the imminent transition of ultra-fast 60 GHz WiGig networking into actual products realized on the market.
